Community Guidelines
SponsorMyRC works because racers and sponsors trust each other. These guidelines keep the community safe and honest.
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Be honest
- Represent yourself, your racing, and your needs truthfully.
- Only offer sponsorship benefits you can actually deliver.
- Do not misrepresent how support will be used.
- Keep your wishlist, goals, and recognition accurate and up to date.
Be respectful
- Treat racers, sponsors, and staff with respect in all communication.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination.
- Do not spam, scrape, or send unsolicited bulk messages.
Protect minors
- Youth profiles must be guardian-managed. Never help a minor bypass guardian controls.
- Never request a minor’s home address, personal contact details, or private meeting.
- Keep all communication involving a minor on-Platform and appropriate. See our Minor Safety Policy.
Prohibited items
Wishlists and listings may not include the following categories:
- Weapons
- Controlled substances
- Alcohol
- Tobacco & nicotine
- Illegal items
- Adult content
- Gambling
- Stolen products
- Counterfeit products
Items must be legal, racing-appropriate, and permitted by the retailer and applicable law.
Prohibited behavior
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive fundraising.
- Impersonating another person, team, or brand.
- Posting content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
- Using the Platform to route payments for anything other than legitimate racing support.
- Attempting to collect or process contribution funds through SponsorMyRC itself.
Payments stay off-Platform
Remember that SponsorMyRC never handles contribution funds. Do not ask us to hold money or mediate payments — support flows directly between sponsors and racers through third-party services. See our Third-Party Payment Disclosure.

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it through our contact page. We review reports and may warn, suspend, or remove accounts and content that violate these rules or our Terms of Service.
